The workshop is split into two lessons. In the first one, which lasts 4 hours, we focus on hand building and you'll pick up the basic techniques of working with clay. The second, 2-hour lesson is all about decorating and glazing. You'll try working with engobes, glazes and other ways to embellish your ceramics. We'll show you different approaches and walk you through the whole process so you know exactly how it's done.
During the first session, guided by our instructor, you'll create your own coffee set – a dripper, a pot and two cups. If there's time left, you'll manage dessert plates too. We all work with the same brief, but the final look is always yours. You can stick to simple shapes, take inspiration from the FROMFRAN cup templates, or bring your own idea and we'll fine-tune it together.
The techniques you learn with us can be developed further any time in our open studio.
The price includes clay of your choice and all firings. All the tools and equipment you need are provided. During the workshop you can treat yourself to fruit, coffee, tea or prosecco – whatever you're in the mood for.
We create in a calm, restful atmosphere with candles, soft music and plenty of space for focus and the joy of the process. Good mood and laughter are always welcome here.
Tempted by the workshop but not really a coffee person? Make a teapot instead of a coffee pot and pair it with your own choice of cup shapes.

Cancellation policy and make-up sessions
For this workshop we are unable to offer a make-up session. Every place is reserved for you in advance, and once it's taken we can no longer offer it to anyone else.
For this reason the cancellation fee is 100 % of the course price. Please treat your booking as a final decision – it will help you avoid unnecessary complications.
Withdrawal from purchase:
If you purchase the course online, you have the legal right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase and request a refund to your account.
